Our farm shop offers a range of fresh, chilled and frozen produce. We source quality products with good provenance from trusted farmers, producers and suppliers.
From home-reared and local meats, charcuterie, cheese and dairy to jams, chutneys, sauces, confectionery, cakes, bread goods, gifts and lots more…..the offering is varied and includes something for everyone. A local farmer/butcher in Thankerton, Biggar, South Lanarkshire. Purely grass fed Aberdeen Angus beef, matured for 28 days. In our farm shop fridges we stock their renowned steak pies. steaks, mince, bacon and sausages.
Based on a farm 3 miles from us, Stuart converted a cattle shed into a high tech bakery. We use his breads with our soup and various specials, and have a weekly Friday morning delivery of Battlefield Bakery breads for the farm shop.
Family butchers for over 150 years, Ramsay of Carluke use only ‘Farm Assured’, outdoor bred pigs to produce their pork sausages, which we use on our Lighter breakfasts.
